Longtime Petersen's 4-Wheel & Off-Road reader and trail fanatic Paul Tiegrob and his co-driver, Chris Nikkel, reminded us all what it was like to wheel an old-school Toyota. Seeing and hearing Paul's 4Runner on the trail brought back a lot of memories for most of us, reminding us just how well these rigs worked back in the day with the right modifications.

Suspension

  • Front: All Pro SAS kit, Rancho RS5000 shocks
  • Rear: Sky Mfg. 6-inch-lift leaf springs, Rancho RS5000 shocks
  • Tires & Wheels: 35x13.50R15 Goodyear MT/Rs on 15x10 American Racing Outlaws
