With most of the major fabrication finished, we headed to our home shop for the odds and ends. First order of business was the rear shocks. With the wide axles, we decided to mound the Fox bypass shocks outside the frame and actually mounted them to a plate on the underside of the inner rear fender. The plate is bolted through the tub to a gusset running to the rollcage. We wouldn't recommend this if your tub is old and rusty, but it worked great for our Jeep. Also note the Dynatrac spring under U-bolt kit and alignment plate on our rear springs.
