Ultimate Adventure 2015 Video Part 3Posted in Ultimate Adventure: 2015 on November 18, 2015
With plenty of miles still left to travel, the 2015 Ultimate Adventure continued with another long road day and a stop for some fun on the lake in-between fueling up. After our last night camping at Black Mountain Off-Road Park our fearless camp counselor Rick Pewe started the day with another booming call for a drivers meeting. With everyone wearing their extremely fashionable Hawaiian shirt and loaded up, the fleet of rigs hit the open road.
After pounding the pavement and fueling up, Rick finally let the cronies see where the canoes they brought would come in handy as the pulled up to Martins Fork Lake. With everyone properly outfitted in a life vest and a canoe, the open water fun began. Before the Ultimate Adventure Regatta could even get underway the canoe wars had begun with squirt guns, smoke bombs and paddle splashing.
Once everyone was soaked from the lake it was time to pack up the canoes and cover some more ground. The group headed for the Helms Ferry that crosses the Powell River and led the group into Northern Tennessee and on thier way to Murphy, North Carolina, home of the Durhamtown Tellico Off-Road Park. Watch all the canoealgins as the cronies’ journey from one park to the next through several states covering hundreds of miles in part 3 of the Ultimate Adventure video.
