Dana Is the Official Crate Axle of Ultimate Adventure 2018

Our Petersen’s 4-Wheel & Off-Road Ultimate Adventure is a weeklong torture test. Not everything survives. Historically, axles are often the biggest casualty on the trip. Big tires and high horsepower don’t amount to a hill of beans if you don’t have the drivetrain to support them. This year we had three vehicles on the Ultimate Adventure running Dana’s Ultimate 60 crate axles front and rear, with zero issues (Our DeRange Rover, Corby Phillips’ Golden Eagle LJ, and the “Two Face” UA2012 Jeep tailgunner vehicle). Dana themselves sent Randall and Racheal Speir this year in a brand-new LJ with the company’s AdvanTek 44 axles and never had a problem, even running 37-inch-tall tires. This is a testament to the product and the people behind it.

Dana offers not only crate axles for Jeep Wrangler JKs and JLs but also builder axles that you can swap under any vehicle you want. They are available for front and rear applications with high-pinion Dana 60 centersections and tubes that you cut to length. You can choose your bolt pattern, the ratio you want for the genuine Spicer ring-and-pinion, and an Eaton Electric Locker or ARB Air Locker. The only limitation is your imagination when building your next 4x4 project.
