The most obvious mod to the 7.3L diesel engine is the Max Performance stainless steel air intake. There's more mods lurking in there, though, in the form of a custom 4-inch-diameter downpipe and dual exhaust and Motorvation performance computer chip. The engine receives further tweaking via a Superchips Max MicroTuner. Engine power is routed through the stock 4R100 transmission controlled by a Banks TransCommand module.
