All the Power Wagons come with a six-speed automatic transmission, a two-speed transfer case, and AAM axles. The front axle is an AAM 9 1⁄4 and comes packed with a 4.10 axle gear, which is higher than prior Power Wagons but, when combined with the larger engine, results in better all-around gearing. Both front and rear axles are stuffed with selectable electric locking differentials. The front axle has a long side axle disconnect for additional fuel economy. Also note the disconnectable front sway bar and massive Warn 12,000-pound winch.
