Delivering the Four Wheeler Pickup Truck of the Year Award to the 2016 Ram RebelPosted in Vehicle Reviews on February 9, 2016
After announcing the winner of the coveted Four Wheeler Pickup Truck of the Year award last month, the time finally came to present the award to the winner, the 2016 Ram 1500 Rebel. During our weeklong test, the Ram Rebel delivered on- and off-road, completing every task we asked of it with ease, and after we tallied up the scores it came out on top of several fierce competitors.
With the team from Ram and the winning Rebel at the 2016 Chicago Auto Show, we jumped at the opportunity to present our Planetary Gearset award. Content Director Sean Holman delivered the prestigious 27th annual Pickup Truck of the Year Award to Ram head honcho Bob Hegbloom and he couldn’t have been more thrilled that their Ram 1500 Rebel won.
The Rebel was deserving of this years award, and with its off-road performance, excellent ride, bold styling, and powerful Hemi, it had everything you could want in a new 4x4 pickup. Thanks to advance technology inside, under the hood, and in the suspension, the Ram 1500 Rebel was able to provide solid off-road performance and on-road comfort.
