Third Time’s a Charm
This is what happens when you get stuck and your tow rig comes in after you. It took three hours and a third truck to get us out.

The Hard Way Down
I was attempting to climb a hill in my ’88 Samurai and ended up launching off the top, landing upside-down back to the bottom. No tumbles or bounces, just one hit right there where it sits in the picture. Almost seven seconds of airtime and a long 20-foot fall. I broke three vertebrae (Nos. 10, 11, and 12) but walked away. The rig has been fixed and is back out in the woods riding around again.
