Chop It?This is my 1997 Toyota Land Cruiser with Maxxis Bighorns on 17x9 Ultras with factory lockers. My buddies and I were going through some trails that had been recently carved out. We went through this section with 15-foot-high piles of dirt and came to a drop-off I had gone down earlier. Buddy tells me last time he was here none of the Jeeps could make it back up. I decided to give it a go. Started up in low-range and let the idle carry me up as far as it would. I got about 80 percent up the slope and stopped. I started easing the pedal down to see if it would move on up or start spinning. Tires started slowly digging in, and then they grabbed and pulled her up. When I came over the top of the ridge my front left tire slipped off the edge and the truck’s weight pulled her off and we landed on our lid. I broke my left arm, and my girlfriend broke her finger. Now I have no truck, but I am looking for a replacement 1995-1997 80 Series. Yotas for life!
