Whoops! Podium Pounding

I am a Special Education Counselor in La Joya, Texas, and competed in the 4x4 Stock Amateur Class at Sunset Ridge Offroad Park in Rio Grande, Texas. My copilot was my cousin Leobardo Ramirez. My 2003 Jeep Wrangler is mostly stock, with a 3-inch Zone lift and a 1 1/4-inch body lift. I got stuck several times during the mud course. Afterward I had to replace all of my fluids and the idler pulley bearing. I took Third Place and won an off-road jack. It was a great experience. In the future I plan on staying away from mud pits.
