It was pretty much the first obstacle of the first trail on the first day of Ultimate Adventure 2018, but when it’s a U-joint’s time to go, it’s time to go. Rick Prater and his co-driver, Todd Daines, lined up on the Frank N Beans trail at Rocky Mountain Terrain Park in Carthage, Maine, and almost immediately fragged an old U-joint. Thankfully Dana, the Official Crate Axle of UA2018, had equipped all the participants with spare axle and driveshaft U-joints for just such an eventuality. Rick and Todd yanked the busted shaft and proceeded to get the 1951 Willys Wagon up and running again in no time.
