2020 Nissan Titan XD Revealed at Titans Football Game

Upgraded Workhorse

Grand Entrance: The 2020 Nissan Titan XD made its world debut at Nissan Stadium (only 18 miles from Nissan's Franklin, Tennessee headquarters) in conjunction with the Los Angeles Chargers vs. Tennessee Titans football game. Titan the truck; Titans the football team. Clever!

Framework: The Titan XD's foundation is solid, built on a reinforced, fully boxed, full-length ladder frame that provides optimal strength and rigidity. It's a different frame than the non-XD Titan. Plus, the wheelbase is about 15 inches longer than that of the standard Titan.

How 'Bout Them Ponies: The standard 5.6L Endurance V-8 gasoline engine produces 400 horsepower and 413 lb-ft of torque, topping the previous rating of 390 hp and 394 lb-ft of torque.

Nine is Nice: A new nine-speed automatic transmission replaces the seven-speed, and a larger final gear ratio (4.083:1 vs. 3.692:1 for the Titan) optimizes power.

Slow that Roll: Four-wheel disco brakes (14.2x1.5-inch front/14.4x1.2-inch rear) feature rear ventilated discs with hydraulic power assist.

Simplified Offerings: The XD will be offered in a Crew Cab, 6.5-foot bed, four-wheel drive configuration.

Let there be Light: All-LED lighting has been added to the bed, utilizing four light sources for full bed coverage.

New Colors: The Titan XD stands out in four new exterior color offerings: Red Alert, Baja Storm, Cardinal Red Metallic (premium color) and Super Black.

Safety First: Standard Nissan Safety Shield 360, a suite of six advanced driver-assist systems, includes Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Blind Spot Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Lane Departure Warning, High Beam Assist and class-exclusive Rear Automatic Braking.

Peace of Mind: A five-year, 100,000 mile bumper-to-bumper warranty covers the Titan XD.
