Sneak Peek: Four Wheeler Magazine’s December 2020 Cover Sports A Stunning Backcountry Night Photo Of A Big Ram 2500!
Here’s an early look at Four Wheeler magazine’s December 2020 cover that hits newsstands October 23.
The December 2020 issue of Four Wheeler magazine puts the spotlight on off-road lighting, and the striking nighttime cover photo was taken on the trail during a backcountry adventure.
Brian Sumner and Harry Wagner, two Four Wheeler freelancers with decades of wheeling and journalism experience, were off-roading this Ram 2500 Baja Runner that is owned by Mule Expedition Outfitters and is designed to be a showcase of the brands the company offers. Mule's Joe Marshall offered seat time in the truck to the pair following the 2019 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, where the Ram had been on display in the Yokohama Tire booth. Brian and Harry immediately pointed the big truck into the backcountry. Because no one thought it was a good idea that they take the truck down the Lippincott Mine Trail in Death Valley, that's where the duo went. One night at camp, Brian grabbed his camera and went to work in the cool desert, under the starry sky, and this is one of the images he captured. 2021 Bronco First Ride
Along the top of the Four Wheeler magazine December 2020 cover is a photo of the 2021 Ford Bronco. Ford wasn't ready to hand off the new machine's keys to journalists quite yet, but they did invite a small group to Michigan for a chance to ride and inspect the all-new Bronco. The corresponding story in the December issue contains our passenger seat impressions of the new SUV.
But Wait, There's More!
Along the bottom of the December cover are four photos that represent four outstanding stories. First, there's a photo from a full-size van trail ride from Utah, next is a photo of Joel Elliott's way cool 1949 International KB2, then a photo from a tech piece covering a series of upgrades to a Jeep Wrangler JK, and finally a night photo from the 2019 Overland Adventure East that's part of a great story about lighting.
