Sneak Peek: Four Wheeler Magazine’s September Cover Features Eddie Loomis’ Incredible 1985 Chevy K5 Blazer!

Here’s an early look at Four Wheeler magazine’s September 2020 cover that hits newsstands July 24.

We're excited to feature Eddie Loomis' 1984 Chevy K5 Blazer on the cover of the September 2020 issue of Four Wheeler magazine. The K5 is built to work off-road and as a bonus it's visually stunning.

Found on Craigslist

Eddie purchased the K5 from a seller on Craigslist who thought it had a bad transmission. Eddie, who is no stranger to building 4x4s, quickly found the problem: the transfer case was stuck in neutral. The K5 underwent an incredible transformation, and today it's running ARB-locked 1-ton axles, a 383 stroker, SM465 trans, NP205 T-case with Offroad Design Magnum Underdrive, 40-inch tires, and more. Of course all these mods didn't magically happen, and we think you'll find the story of Eddie's K5 quite fascinating.

Anatomy of the Photo

Four Wheeler magazine staff editor Jered Korfhage met Eddie and his K5 in the California desert and Jered knew this was a rig Four Wheeler readers needed to see. Jered nailed the shot of the K5 down low and with spectacular lighting so you could get a clear view of the front suspension, axle, steering, and other associated bits in addition to a detailed overview of the exterior.

But Wait, There's More!

The Four Wheeler magazine September 2020 cover also includes a photo of the 2020 Jeep Gladiator Mojave. The issue contains an in-depth review of the truck by Four Wheeler content director Sean P. Holman. Sean not only digs into the engineering that makes the Mojave tick; he also offers his driving impressions of this incredible machine.
