Sneak Peek: Four Wheeler Magazine’s November 2020 Cover Spotlights Wheeling a Ram 2500 in the Wide-Open Backcountry!
Here’s an early look at Four Wheeler magazine’s November 2020 cover that hits newsstands September 25.
The November 2020 issue of Four Wheeler magazine celebrates wheeling in the wide-open backcountry with a cover photo that will take your breath away. The image is of a Ram 2500-based Baja Runner exploring the desert, flanked by stunning, towering mountain peaks.
An Offer That Couldn't Be Refused
The Ram 2500 Baja Runner is owned by Mule Expedition Outfitters and is designed to be a showcase of the brands the company offers. Mule's Joe Marshall offered seat time in the truck to Four Wheeler contributors Brian Sumner and Harry Wagner following the 2019 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, where the Ram had been on display in the Yokohama Tire booth. Brian and Harry immediately pointed the big truck into the backcountry. Since no one thought it was a good idea that they take the truck down the Lippincott Mine Trail in Death Valley, that's where the duo went. The story that accompanies this cover photo is a fascinating, detailed look at what the adventure included and how the big truck fared. If you can't wait until the print story publishes on September 25 you can read the story now here.
2021 Bronco Grabs Attention
The Four Wheeler magazine November 2020 cover also includes a prominent, attention-grabbing photo of the hot new 2021 Ford Bronco. The photo shown is of the two-door version of this long-awaited return of the nameplate. There are actually two corresponding stories in the issue, written by the very knowledgeable Sean P. Holman. One offers a detailed look at the Bronco with exclusive analysis, and the other compares Bronco to Wrangler using spec information.
There's More! Much More
The two other photos on the November 2020 cover of Four Wheeler tie in to fascinating stories. One does a deep dive into upgrades to the steering, winch, and tires on an SAS 2004 Toyota Tacoma TRD. The other is an image from tech guru Verne Simons' series on metal fabrication basics. It's the third in the three-part series and covers how to build tubular corner gussets.
