Exclusive Preview: What’s Coming In The October 2020 Issue Of Four Wheeler Magazine!
A look at what’s on tap in the newest issue of Four Wheeler magazine, at newsstands August 21.
If you're looking for great 4x4 content, look no further than the October 2020 issue of Four Wheeler magazine! It's cover to cover, wall to wall, floor to ceiling, bumper to bumper 4x4 goodness and it goes on sale at newsstands around the world on August 21!
Fullsize 4x4 Special
The theme of the October 2020 issue is "Fullsize 4x4 Special" and the issue is loaded with 4x4s of the larger variety. There's a feature on Matt Swithenbank's Cummins 6BT-powered 1994 Ford F-250 and James Mallios' overland-ready 2015 Ram 3500, a winter road test of a diesel-powered 2020 GMC Sierra AT4, a detailed comparison of the first-and second-gen Ford Raptor, and a great story about exploring Baja in fullsize diesel pickup trucks.
Granville and Jeeps
We're proud that Granville King wrote for Four Wheeler magazine and he's a part of our long history. We're always excited to run his past columns when space permits and some of his work is in the October issue! There's also a great feature on Adrian Holmes 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited that's set up for overlanding, and a tally of the top 10 Jeep Gladiator parts from SEMA 2019 (as chosen by us).
The October issue is also loaded with great tech stories. There's a story about why and how to correctly bleed your 4x4's brakes, and there's an overview of how we used Fab Fours and RuffStuff Specialties parts to rebuild our rig's tire carrier (after it got destroyed on Ultimate Adventure 2019). If you just can't wait to read the story you can peruse it at "DIY Spare Tire Carrier Fabrication. " But that's not all! There's a detailed look at how to cope or notch tubing and a fascinating story about how we installed and tested upgraded control arms from JKS Manufacturing. It's a great story and you can read it here: See Why JKS MFG Control Arms Are So Much Better Than Your Jeep's Stock Arms.
But Wait, There's More!
All of this content is in addition to Four Wheeler's monthly roundup of new products for your 4x4, a look back at a past memorable Four Wheeler story, answers to your tech questions, feedback from readers, editorials from the staff, and much more.
