Painless Jeep Throttle Body
Painless Performance expands its Jeep 4.0L Perfect Hi-Velocity Throttle Body line to cover ’06-’07 applications. With a 62mm effective plate diameter, the Perfect throttle body increases airflow from the factory 415 cfm to a manufacturer-claimed 600 cfm. Construction is 6061-T6 billet aluminum with a 17-4 precipitation hardened stainless steel throttle shaft and a 5052 aluminum throttle blade. Painless markets the throttle body as fully compatible with the factory ECM and connections.

Pro Comp Pro Runner Control Arms
The new Pro Comp Pro Runner Upper Control Arms improve durability by upgrading the OE design from a ball joint to a stainless-steel FK uniball. Further, Pro Comp makes its arms from 11⁄4-inch chromoly tubing, which it says is considerably stronger than OE stamped steel. PTMEG pivot bushings are equipped with Zerk fittings for easy maintenance and quiet operation. Each arm features a durable black powdercoat finish. Applications are currently available for late-model Ford, Chevy, and Toyota trucks.

KRC Filtered Steering Reservoir
KRC’s steering reservoir, created with off-road racers in mind, includes a stainless-mesh Oberg filter screen. The two-piece canister has a 41⁄2-inch diameter and measures 41⁄2 inches tall by 4 inches wide. The reservoir’s top can be swiveled 360 degrees to point the return line in any direction. The reservoir is equipped with a -8AN O-ring port in the side (return flow), which accepts -8AN or -6AN male nipples. The -12AN O-ring port at the bottom of the reservoir accommodates -12AN, -10AN, or -8AN male nipples to feed the pump. Fluid capacity is 23 ounces.

Odyssey Group 48 Battery
The Odyssey Group 48 battery was created to fit a variety of applications. This new size features 723 cold cranking amps and 109 minutes of reserve capacity minutes and weighs 48 pounds. Like other Odyssey Performance Series batteries, the new application features dry-cell absorbed glass mat technology to contain acid and prevent spills, allowing the battery to be installed in almost any position. It also features deep-cycle capability up to 400 cycles at 80 percent depth of discharge. Vibration-resistant, the battery is classified as “non-spillable” by the US Department of Transportation. Warranty is four-year full replacement under certain conditions.

Inline Tube Combo Flaring Tool
Inline Tube’s new tool makes SAE Standard 45-degree double flares and Bubble ISO metric double and single flares for custom brake, fuel, and transmission lines. Dies are included for these line diameters: 3⁄16, 1⁄4, 5⁄16, and 3⁄8 inches and 4.75, 6, 8, and 10 mm. This tool is designed to be held in a vise. Inline Tube claims that the tool can flare OE steel, copper, aluminum, and stainless steel. The kit includes a plastic storage case.

Flowmaster Outlaw Truck Exhausts
Flowmaster’s new cat-back line for trucks is engineered to improve power, sound, and looks. Systems combine rumbly Super 10 Series mufflers with mandrel-bent tubing made from 409S stainless steel stock. They end in 3-inch dual tailpipes with large exhaust tips coated in a satin black ceramic finish. These emissions-legal systems can be modified for dual out-rear or dual out-side tailpipe configurations. Applications are currently available for ’09-’14 Chevy/GMC Silverado/Sierra 1500, ’04-’14 Ford F-150 (shown), ’06-’14 Ram 1500, and ’09-’14 Toyota Tundra.
Volant Silverado/Sierra Intake
Volant offers a CAI for the ’14 5.3L V-8 1500 Silverado/ Sierra. The system shields warm air from entering the engine and features sculpted air ducts that optimize airflow. The two styles are PowerCore (Donaldson synthetic honeycomb element) or pre-oiled Pro5. PowerCore elements are covered by warranty for up to four years/100,000 miles. The Pro5 is a five-layer cleanable/re-oilable element designed to last the life of the vehicle.
Alloy USA JK Gearsets
Alloy USA has added six axle gearsets to its Jeep JK line: 3.73, 4.10, 4.56, 4.88, 5.13, and 5.38. Each set is constructed from 8620 steel forgings and uses Gleason gear-cutting technology. These gears are marketed as stronger than stock, in ratios that allow JK owners to keep the engine in its optimal powerband when running a variety of tire diameters. OR-Fab TJ Winch Bumper
OR-Fab now offers a full-width front winch bumper for Jeep TJ Wranglers. Manufactured in the USA from 3⁄16-inch-thick steel plate, the bumpers are formed using laser cuts and CNC press brake bends. Standard features include an integrated fairlead winch mount and two 3⁄4-inch D-ring mounts with D-rings. A 2-inch-diameter grille hoop with welded light tabs is optional. Finish is either wrinkle or gloss heavy-duty black powdercoat. Installation reuses the factory hardware and mounting points.

Daystar JK Hood Cowl
Daystar’s new solution for venting JK engine compartment heat is a functional hood cowl that uses directional air chambers. The company claims that the cowl is rugged and retains the hood’s structural integrity as well as its engine-side insulation. Installation is described as easy, and the kit includes the necessary templates. This USA-made hood cowl is paintable.
AFE GM 5.3L Throttle Body Spacer
The Silver Bullet throttle body spacer for ’14 GM 5.3L V-8s is constructed from 6061-T6 billet aluminum. A serrated/helix design creates turbulence in the airflow at the point just prior to engine entry to optimize combustion. This turbulence helps the air/fuel charge burn completely, providing increased horsepower, torque, and improved throttle response. Manufacturer testing showed gains of 8 hp and 12 lb-ft of torque.
