IH Parts America is the Official IH Truck & Scout Parts of Ultimate Adventure - #UA2019

As we pointed out in our first installment of the Ultimate International, we are finally showing the International fans some love and building a 1964 Scout 80 for this Ultimate Adventure 2019. Even though we're changing just about everything on our tractor to non-original parts, there are inevitably some unique Scout-specific things that need to be addressed. These things don't really apply to other vehicles and it takes a real International specialist for guidance and products to make a Scout project a success. We have worked with IH Parts America before, and when the company caught wind that we were building a Scout for the 20th Anniversary of Ultimate Adventure, owner Jeff Ismail stepped in as the Official IH Truck & Scout Parts sponsor for our cornbinder-led event.

IH Parts America is one-stop shopping for everything in the light line of International Harvester. The company does everything basic repairs to full restorations in its shop, and it offers a huge selection of restoration parts for these classic trucks. But it also goes one step further and offers a full line of custom fabrication parts for those looking to modify their IH vehicle for better on- and off-road performance. IH Parts America even offers licensed reprints of factory service manuals though its Binder Books division. The Ultimate International will be benefitting from a variety of restoration parts for things like weatherstripping and rebuilding the window channels and regulators, and we've also tapped heavily into the company's Crawler Proven Technology (CPT) custom fabrication line for things like a shackle reversal kit and spring hangers. All of this and more will be detailed in upcoming Ultimate International build articles. In addition to being a key part of the build, the company will be sporting their old iron heritage with their well-known Scout II pictured here. Needless to say, International Harvester has never been better represented than on #UA2019.
