Quigley Motor Company Is the Official Custom Driveshaft of Ultimate Adventure 2020! #UA2020
We bet you didn’t know Quigley did more than build awesome custom 4x4 conversion vans!
Go ahead, you can admit it. Everybody has heard of Quigley Motor Company, Inc. Go to Alaska, the Northeast, Southeast, any overlanding show—anywhere, really —and you'll see hordes of high-quality custom Quigley 4x4 custom conversion vans all over the place. Heck, we've even seen them in Hawaii, and we've watched videos of them exploring the backcountry all over the world.
But even though Quigley Motor Company is best known as a builder of GM, Ford, and Nissan 4x4 vans, one part of the company's operation is building custom driveshafts. When you think about it, it's a natural solution to putting solid and IFS 4x4 systems in vehicles that didn't originally come with a T-case. And given Quigley's OE level of manufacturing and strict quality control, building a perfectly balanced, exact-fit driveshaft for any application is something that's right in the company's wheelhouse.
For several Ultimate Adventures we've had the benefit of Quigley's partnership, but not in the capacity of an official sponsor. Quite often in the past Quigley generously donated the use of one of its 4x4 vans driven by the dynamic duo of Tiger and Renee LeBrun to haul our film crew around behind the scenes. The irony is, in transporting our video guys around to catch our heroics, the van and the LeBruns were doing everything we were doing, but with the addition of a whole lot more sheetmetal, people, and weighty gear on board.
"The camera van," as we've affectionately come to call it, is always a crowd favorite, especially given Tiger's reluctance to take bypasses and treat the van like it's something fragile. Trust us, it ain't. So having seen the hammering a Quigley 4x4 van can take, we're fully confident the Quigley custom driveshafts we're installing in the UALRJ (and that many of the UA2020 participants will most likely be running) will be more than up to the task of handling any terrain UA2020 can throw at them.
Be sure to stay tuned to fourwheeler.com/ultimate-adventure to follow updates on the UALRJ as it comes together, and don't forget to watch all the UA2020 event coverage on our website as well as social media with the #UA2020 hashtag for the latest on what the UA gang is up to as the event draws closer!
