Check-In Day Recap: Ultimate Adventure 2020 #UA2020

Ultimate Adventure 2020 gets under way in Montana!

That's it! The long-anticipated cat has left the bag. Not only is Ultimate Adventure 2020 a go, but it's a go in one of the most beautiful parts of the lower 48. We're kicking off UA2020 in Kalispell, Montana, gateway to Glacier National Park and the home of what seems like every beautiful vista imaginable. And not only is the location epic, but the vehicle and participant count is one of, if not the, biggest in UA history. With 46 participants and 26 vehicles involved, this is shaping up to be one fully packed UA.

Check-in Day is when we all arrive at the starting point of the event and then line up the participants to go through vehicle tech inspection. Our Old Cronies knock off all the safety gear, check that the vehicles have working front and rear lockers, spill kit, working radio system, valid paperwork, winch, and all the other requirements that must be met to get to the next stage of UA entry. After getting their inspection paperwork signed, they're sent on to the next station where the rest of their event paperwork is checked, their bags are handed out, stickers for their vehicles are procured, and finally the long-anticipated cherry on the UA sundae, the official Ultimate Adventure windshield banner. The UA windshield banner has gained something of a cult status in the off-road world, and it seems to be the one piece of kit our participants most look forward to receiving. With the banner in hand, everybody then heads to the parking lot to apply sponsor stickers, repack all their stuff, and get ready for what Day 1 of UA will bring. If you're curious what that means exactly for UA2020, be sure to tune back in to fourwheeler.com/ultimate-adventure to find out!
