Ultimate Adventure 2020 Invited Reader: Ryan Broome! #UA2020

Our fifth invitee makes UA2020 the biggest reader field in UA history!

"Five invited readers, Hazel! And you still haven't announced who the returning reader from UA2019 will be? That's coconuts!" Yeah, we're inviting a lot of readers to come along on UA this year. It adds logistic complexity getting that many people through a trial system in one day while filming video. Heck, even just getting that many of us through a fuel stop or dealing with the unavoidable maladies that UA brings to participants of all levels will be a challenge. But everybody has been caged up all year, so if we're throwing the world's best off-road party we're gonna damn well make the extra effort to invite as many of our loyal 4WOR fans as possible. Our fifth and final new invited reader for UA2020 is Ryan Broome of Pinson, Alabama.

Ryan bought this 2003 Ford F-150 2 years ago as a work truck for his dad to drive. Long story short, it wound up doing less work and more play, so Ryan has modified it into the trail-capable off-road vehicle that's coming on UA2020. The drivetrain is largely stock, from the 4.6L V-8, to the 4R70W automatic, and the BW 4406 T-case. What isn't stock is the pair of Super Duty Dana 60 and Sterling 10.25 axles that were stabbed underneath to better survive off-road with the 38x13.50R17 Falken Wildpeak M/T tires Ryan runs on low-buck 17-inch Dodge aluminum wheels. To give the truck a better departure angle Ryan bobbed the rear of the bed and for UA he's adding a Warn 8,000-pound winch and 'cage, but otherwise the ol' work truck is ready for some UA fun.
