Our annual test to see which new 4x4 SUV and which new pickup truck is the most capable, got underway today with plenty of time in traffic and lots of time on the track. This year’s competition includes a 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee, 2016 Range Rover SVR, and a 2016 Range Rover Diesel in the SUV category, a 2016 Nissan Titan XD, 2016 Chevy Colorado Trail Boss, 2016 Ram Rebel and 2016 Toyota Tacoma in the pickup category. With our team of expert judges assembled we left the office and headed to Willow Springs International Raceway to see how well each rig performed in 0-60mph, 60-0 mph, times and in ¼ mile acceleration.

We know, we know, you guys want us to see what these vehicles will do on the trail, and we will be doing that the rest of the week! Stay tuned right here on fourwheeler.com all week for more coverage of the 2016 Four Wheeler of the year as we test each of these rigs on the trail to see which vehicle comes out on top!
